Join us at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City on Friday, February 7, 2025 for LangCon2025 - we're anticipating the largest number of participants ever!
LangCon is the premier conference for organizational collaboration and information sharing within the U.S. Defense Language Enterprise. First held 36 years ago, LangCon, hosted by the 300th Military Intelligence Brigade (LING), stands as the nation’s largest gathering for military, intelligence, national security, and academic institutions dedicated to training and employing Intelligence Linguists.
The LangCon2025 theme is “Linguists on the New Front Line.” Today’s front lines are no longer confined to distant locations—they now extend into the virtual domains of multi-domain operations. U.S. adversaries not only challenge us in the Gray Zone but engage in constant conflict within cyberspace. The National Security community urgently needs Intelligence Linguists equipped with the skills and training to confront threats from these virtual foxholes on this evolving New Front Line.
Our keynote speaker at this year’s LANGCON is Lieutenant General Tony Hale, the Army’s senior Intelligence Officer. As General Hale often says: “The United States could be at war tomorrow.” With the current fragile state of global security, conflict literally could ignite at any time. And when it does, it won’t resemble the counterinsurgency operations of the past two decades. Instead, it will be Large-Scale Combat against near-peer adversaries—and it will be conflict on a devastating scale. Intelligence Linguists will be with the very first who will answer the call, “Always Out Front” in any coming conflict.
Join us in Salt Lake City for LangCon2025 and prepare to take your place in the virtual foxhole, ready to defend and serve on the New Front Line!
